The Track World Cup is a UCI event, usually held between December and February in 4 or 5 vnues aournd the globe.

The Sydney event in February 2005 was held at the same venue as the 2000 Olympics. The meet lasted 3 days and as the final event of the 2004-2005 World Cup competition, saw World Cup Champions presented with their white championship jerseys as well as winners of individual events being presented with their medals.
