UCI World Cup, Race 1 - Geelong, 2005

The Geelong World Cup Race is the first event on the UCI calendar. The race takes place in the area around Geelong, which is in the Australian state of Victoria.

The 2005 race was won by Australian Rochelle Gilmore, riding for the New South Wales Institute of Sport team. Last year's Geelong winner and World Cup Champion, Oenone Wood was second, Kate Bates, from the Dutch Ton van Bemmelen team, was third.
